Is Nick there?Carly: Actually, he just left for a sec.Tawnya: Oh okay. Just tell him to call me yeah?Carly: Uh yeah. Whatever. (Carly hung up before Tawnya could say anything. Tawnya couldn't sleep so she went into the family room to watch some T.V but Jared was there so she went into the kitchen.)Jared: (As Tawnya walked passed him.) So who was the guy?Tawnya: Huh?Jared: Don't play dumb with me.Tawnya: Why would you care anyways, Jared?Jared: Okay, then I don't.Tawnya: Okay.Jared: Just go wherever it is you're going.Tawnya: I am. (She walked out of the room.)*RING, RING RING* (Swati read her phone.)Swati: Nick?Dad: You might wanna pick up.Swati: Uh...yeah...(She stared at her phone for a little while & then picked up.) Hello?Nick: Swati?Swati: Yeah...?Nick: Uhm...Carly said you called.Swati: Oh uh. yeah...I didNick: Carly's one of my ex-gf's from before I dated you.Swati: I didn't ask. (innocently)Nick: I know. I just don't want you to think I'm dating anyone else.Swati: Nick, you can see whoever you want. I'm not coming back. My dad's mind is fixed.Nick: Swati, I'm not giving up on you.Swati: (Her voice was shaky by now.) No, Nick please just stop.Nick: No Swati.Carly: (In the background)Nick....C 'mon!Swati: Nick. Swati hung up and just sat in the room staring out her window looking at the cars passing by. Thinking about all the good times and then came to the current memory of what was going on between them.)*Back with Nick & Carly*Carly: Who was that?Nick: Swati.Carly: Girlfriend?Nick: Exgirlfriend. But Tawnya was there so it cant be that bad, right? "Wow you guys have a great house" Tawnya said in amazment. "Thanks" Nick said. They're house was great. They had the coolest game room ever. "What kind of games do you have in there?" I asked. I wanted to play so bad. Gosh, I sound like a little kid."We have a pool table, Guitar Hero, Rock Band and some other stuff." Joe replied. Im surprised he didnt try to flirt or anything. "You wanna go play? Or you know, we can do something else?" He put his arm around me as he said that. I guess I spoke too soon? "I rather play pool than to see what you have in mind" I took his arm off of me. "Okay then." He lead me into the room as Tawnya and Nick followed. I guess they were gunna play some other game?"Ready to get beat at Guitar Hero?" I heard Nick say from across the room. "Psht. You'll see whos gunna beat who"Interesting comeback. "You wanna play or what?" I heard Joe say, right next to me. "Um. Yeah" He got me a pool stick and let me break. "Your pretty good" He said smiling. "Uh. Thanks" I didnt make anything in so it was his turn to go. He did this cool thing where the ball hops over the other. "Thats cool. Can you show me how to do that?" He looked up at me. "Sure" He put his arm around my waist but I didnt care cuz he was helping me. "You put the stick like this..and then hit it" Wow. He actually helped me. "Oh. Thanks" I smiled but I didnt know why? "Yeah. Anytime baby" Ugh. Thats just like him. "Why do you always do that?" He smiled. "Do what?" "You know what. You always reel me in like that and then you start acting like a big jerk!" He walked over to me "Well thats just how i am""Yeah and thats why you dont keep a girlfriend longer than a week!" I didnt want to argue with him anymore so I just ran out. I looked back and saw him following me. By this time I was outside on the grass. So I just stopped and sat down. He sat right next to me. "Look, Im really sorry for the way I've been acting towards you" I looked at him. "Then why do you do it?" He looked at me then at the grass."I- I dont know? Its just that all the guys on the football team look up to me cause I get all the girls. So I guess I just wanted to keep that image, ya know?" Wow. He has never talked to me like this before. "Joe, you dont have to be like that. I would like you a whole lot more if you didnt" "Serioulsy?" I couldnt do anything but smile. "Yeah" He looked me in the eyes and started leaning towards me. Then I felt his soft lips against mine. Once he leaned back, I smiled."Will you be my girlfriend?" My heart dropped when I heard the word 'girlfriend' "I'd love to" He smiled really big. Gosh, he is so cute. "I promise not to be a jerk to you or anyone else" I smiled "Yeah, I know" "Come on. Lets go inside." He got up and grabbed my hand. "Isnt it fun being a gentleman?" He started laughing. "Yeah. And even better being your boyfriend" "Oh stop" I started blushing. "Thanks for helping me change my ways" "Hey. My dad doesn't like you, 2.) They think I spend too much time with you guys, and 3.)School. They think I've been out of school for a while.Nick: Well I can't make anyone like me and you do spend a lot of time with us but that's your choice. And you can be home schooled with us! Swati please, just come back.Swati: Nick, it's not that easy. Truth is well my dad's friend's son's song has cancer or something like that and we have a lot of family in Rome. They really just think that I'm too far from family and I hardly see them. Every time they go to Rome, I never go. I always ended up staying with Christine.Nick: Why? Why didn't you ever go?Swati: I don't know. I just never liked flying nor did I ever like Rome. When I was like 5 we went to Rome and it was really the worst trip I've been on.Nick: What happ....(Swati's dad woke up and had to go to the bathroom so he got up and began to walk back when he saw Nick and Swati talking so her went up to them)Dad: So....I see you found Nick.Swati: Oh...uhh yeah.
