| Golf Driving Range Session - Single Digit Handicap Trying to Become ScratchTue, 06 Jan 2009 22:26:50 -0800 by parker19822I'm a mid single digit golfer trying to get down to scratch, or at least a 1 or 2 handicap by the end of 2009. I'm taking the PAT in March and am currently a level II instructor with the United States Golf Teacher Federation (USGTF).The biggest flaws I see are bringing the club past parallel during my back-swing , rising up on my toes at impact (watch my footwork), and not fully extending through the ball at contact (my right wrist flips at the very last second even though I retain lag during my downswing).Any single digit/scratch golfers/instructors out there have any suggestions on how to get rid of my little jump I do at impact? It's the biggest problem I have with my swing and I can't find any specific drills to fix it in golf books/magazines/web sites. Any feedback will be appreciated.Thanks!
