Look Like a Princess with Disney Bridal Gowns

Disneyworld is a popular destination wedding location for many couples. Florida is, after all, famous for this magical paradise, its warm weather and gorgeous scenery. If you've always wanted to tie the knot in Disneyworld, or at least have a Disney theme wedding, the right gown is essential. In April of 2007, the first ever collection of Disney bridal gowns from designer Kirstie Kelley was released. Kelley is a respected dress designer in her own right and has been deemed the best choice for this new project by Disney.

The first store (and the only one at this point) to carry this line will be Solutions Bridal in Florida. Whether the collection will be available at other stores around the country has yet to be determined. However, the possibility is quite likely. The gowns are inspired by Disney princesses from favorite fairy tales. Some of these princesses include Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Ariel and Jasmine. Reports on the line indicate that the dresses are not costumey, but stylish and fashionable.

The dresses are inspired by the princess characters without making brides look like a character at a theme park. The price of these dresses range from around $1,000 to $3,000. They are sure to be a huge hit, with the line featuring over 30 gowns and eventually dresses for bridesmaids and flower girls. Every little girl has dreamed of the day she can dress up like a princess to wed her Prince Charming, and many of those little girls have grown up continuing to have the same dream.

Disney is a timeless institution that has offered entertainment and magic to kids and adults of all ages. The launch of the Disney bridal gowns collection took place amidst lots of excitement and coincided with Disney's Year of a Million Dreams theme. Brides-to-be will be lining up for their chance at purchasing a wedding dress inspired by their most beloved princess. For many, this will be a dream come true!
